While Success' Yoshinoya is the game usually mentioned when talking about cooking games based on real-life restaurants, it isn't the only one. This one is based on the curry chain CoCo Ichibanya, and has you making -- shock of shocks -- curry rice. You've also got to welcome customers to the shop, and a second player can jump in as the waitress, taking orders and busing tables.
The problem is that the game demands way too much precision for how fast the game is paced. For example, every dish needs rice, and you must scoop exactly the right amount on the plate -- 1 gram too much and the game makes you do it again. By the time you get an order finished, chances are you'll have ten more piled up and a horde of angry customers stewing in their seats.
If (when) you get bored, you can take a quiz about curry, or play a mini-game where you use pigs to pick mushrooms. Huh.
