Congratulations, you're the proud new owner of a Mars Pharmeceutical ID-3 HoiHoi-san pest control robot. This cute little 5-inch bruiser hunts down pests in your home and eradicates them with extreme prejudice. Which is good, considering you've got a bit of a roach problem in your apartment. And also because you like dressing up cute little doll-like robots. Ahem.
Based on the manga by Kunihiko Tanaka, which has since spawned a long line of plastic model kits, this is a relatively straightfoward action game where you basically run around shooting and slicing cockroaches. Complete missions to earn money, which you can use to buy new outfits and weapons. So many outfits and weapons.
I haven't gotten to dig too far into this yet, but it seems like the main problem is that all the missions take place inside the same room, which is basically a giant square arena with a handful of obstacles strewn about. It make sense, but a change of scenery now and then wouldn't have been too much to ask, would it? Ah well, at least you have plenty of maid outfits to dress HoiHoi-san up in.
