The fourth and final PS2 release in what was for a while Tamsoft's flagship series. Similar to the previous update of the first game, there's a few new guest characters (Riho Futaba, of course, plus a couple of weird anachronistic samurai girls from The Nadeshiko), plus some general polish. Released in Europe as Zombie Hunters 2.

Tamsoft of course went on to do several more games in the series, including a "reboot" on the PS3 with new characters (that are obvious sprite recolors of the original heroines ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL). Oddly enough, while they did a fair range of projects in the late '90s including fighting games, puzzle games, and oddball RPG Knight & Baby, since the Simple Series era they've basically become "Sexual Exploitation: The Game Studio", with projects including Dream Club, Ikki Tousen, Love App, and fanservice tour-de-force Senran Kagura, which famously got its start when producer Koichiro Takagi thought to himself "what do I want to see in 3D?" after seeing the 3DS, and immediately decided "boobs!"
